Tian is a PhD candidate studying diverse venoms,
Through CRISPR screening across the human genome.
From ants, and spiting cobras to jellyfish,
Finding mechanisms of actions and new therapeutics is her wish.
She completed her undergraduate at Unimelb,
In neuroscience and anatomy did she delve.
Her honours looked into the effects of social isolation,
And she is working on stem cell models of neurodegeneration.
Tian dabbles in science communication,
Giving talks around the nation.
Outside the lab, she loves taekwondo, visiting other countries,
Crocheting to audiobooks and writing bad poetry.
