Sophie joined the University of Sydney in 2020 as a PhD candidate studying human specific genes and their function in brain development using CRISPR screening in brain organoids. Sophie completed her M.Sc. in Neuroscience from the Sagol Department of Neurobiology, University of Haifa. Interested in the unique aspects of human neurodevelopment and evolution.
